If you paid any amount of attention to the decklists during WePlay! Artifact Mighty Triad: Agility, you’ve noticed that most decks use similar items; Blink Daggers, Revtel Signet Rings and Stonehall Cloaks made up 90% of all items used in the tournament. In the most recent balance patch, Valve tries to break the meta mostly by decreasing the item prices.
The new lobby and tournament settings
While the community is waiting for a proper rank system to be implemented, Valve decided to make the gameplay more diverse and added a Random Two-Color deck lobby option to give players ability to play each other on even grounds while taking the deck-building process out of the equation.
That also brought more charm into the random tournaments which are now called Chaos Blitz.
The best part of the patch notes
With Artifact concurrent player numbers briefly dipping below the 1k mark, the remaining members of the community started to worry that Valve would abandon the game entirely. Here is the best and most reassuring part of the patch notes:
That one line reassures many people that Valve isn’t abandoning a game, so many people invested their money into. Hopefully, the game will stop tanking and picks up in popularity after this one and the following patches.
