VALORANT Power Rankings for November: Europe

Read the November updates about the VALORANT Power Rankings according to Europe-wide TOP-10 and CIS TOP-5 teams.
FIRST STRIKE Qualifiers starts this week in Europe and CIS. Before this highly anticipated tournament goes full swing, we updated our power rankings. As usual, VALORANT commentator Igor “Helix” Mesheryakov helps us with this difficult task.
Because the line-up of the top teams in Europe hasn’t drastically changed and CIS got separated for FIRST STRIKE, we decided to come up not only with unified top-10 list for Europe but, with a separate top-5 of CIS teams as well.
Power ranking: Europe
Because everyone is finishing their preparation for the FIRST STRIKE, there were only a few matches between the tier-1 teams, so their positions are relatively the same. However, some tier-2 squads managed to make themselves known by participating in smaller tournaments. Also, we want to mention the return of Oxygen Esports, who have already been in an earlier power rankings under the name of looking4org.

Interview with SumnFC.Boaster: "I am confident we will put on a good show at First Strike"
Interview with nolpenki.vakk: "My main goal as a player is to be as flexible as I can"

Some observations: Guild Esports are holding their place because of past success. However, the recent loss against Gambit may point towards the change of their position. After two wins in Nicecactus tournaments and a close match against NiP, Gambit Esports may be called a tier-1 team. SUMN FC holds a win streak of 12 matches and is currently the best tier-2 team in the region. Finally, Heretics has a strong multinational roster which has not suffered the defeat yet.
Power ranking: CIS
Even though 1.5 CIS teams are present in the European list (Gambit Esports as well as half of FunPlus Phoenix), we decided to look at the five strongest CIS teams right now.
1. Gambit Esports
In less than two months, the Reds have shown some very decent results: they are 17-2 and champions of two Nicecactus tournaments. They don’t fear any opponent, and they are the main favorites to win the FIRST STRIKE: CIS.

Gambit is my choice to win the FIRST STRIKE. Obviously, though, everyone will be prepared against the Reds, and the team should remember that all the time. There would be no easy matches for them.
2. forZe
After two substitutions, forZe started playing really well. They won several small tournaments and took 3-4 place in GLX Elite: EU.

Under Zeddy’s captainship, forZe is active in different tournaments, and they show decent performance. Their results are not stable, but they are not an easy opponent. It is also worth mentioning that every team in our list, which is not Gambit, is really close to the others.
3. Team Singularity
The Danish organization has recently signed FishkaVTom. For a long time, they have been knocking on the top-10 door, but every time they lacked something. Maybe this time, Denis “Gray” Danilyuk and his team will break the curse.

FishkaVTom had great timing when they signed a contract with Team Singularity. They have been the best in CIS for quite a time, but constant reshuffles made it worse. Because of that, they performed poorly during the last tournaments. I hope they managed to stabilize the situation after signing contracts, and we will see the new rise of Gray’s squad.
4. ROX Team
If we look solely at the names of the roster, ROX is not a remarkable team. However, they managed to get to the play-offs of GLX: Elite: EU and win over $1000 of prize money, a decent sum for CIS. It is worth mentioning that several days ago, they lost their coach simons. This could influence their performance as well.

On paper, this squad has skilled players that should destroy their opponents with raw power. However, their results are even less stable than those of forZe and Singularity. The key problem may be in their psychology, but they still have time to work on it.
5. Flawless
This stack achieved a decent result in TOURSTAT Summer Clash, where they did not let forZe and FishkaVTom in the playoffs. Some may call our fifth place an advance, but you should definitely follow these guys.

Strong performances in TOURSTAT Summer Clash, many top places in smaller tournaments in EU and CIS and, of course, a strong stack of individually skilled players. These guys may go far in the FIRST STRIKE, and, who knows, maybe we will see them under a different tag.
The first qualifier in Europe and CIS starts today! There will be no invites as everyone in the region shares the same bracket, so many surprises are guaranteed to happen. Stay with us if you want to have a close look at the VALORANT scene!
