United Master league is about to start

Last week we have informed you about the inception of a new online league organized by esports betting site Unikrn and ChallengeMe.GG with $150,000 on the line. 

The tournament is special with its unique format. All fourteen teams will receive a sign-on bonus and are co-owners of the league, which means they will get a fee of the league’s revenue share which is in my opinion huge step forward, especially for the players who don’t have a full-time salary (not all of the tier-2 teams have been contracted) and have to make at least some money for living. We all have to pay bills, even if you are still living with your mother. :)

Action continues today, at 15:00 CET, with an opening match between German Euronics against Danish Tricked. The format will be usual round-robin best-of-two group stage running until February 8. The eight top teams will then progress to the playoffs after half of them will earn the ticket for the LAN finals, which will be held on Osnabrück, Germany, from March 29-31.

As I mentioned in the 3rd paragraph, the opening match will kick off at 15:00 CET with Euronics and Tricked. However, I personally can’t wait to see the second match between the new lineup of Valiance and Red Reserve, it will be a match you don’t want to miss it. The complete schedule is right below:
