Unicorns of Love win the LCL Spring Split

Professional esports organization, Unicorns of Love, have won the League of Legends Continental League Spring Split after defeating RoX in the Finals. 

Both Unicorns of Love and RoX topped the Group Stage, with the latter taking the top spot. When they met during the first stage of the tournament, their encounter ended in a draw. With both teams achieving a 13:1 score, a tie-breaker had to be conducted, which brought RoX out on top. 

In the Playoffs, both teams beat their opponents, Gambit Esports and Elements Pro Gaming, 3-0. Moving to the Finals, Unicorns of Love enacted their revenge against RoX with a 3-0 victory.

Had Mid-Season Invitational 2020 not been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, their victory would have secured Unicorns of Love's a spot in that tournament. Instead, they go home with a ₽2,000,000 ($26,866) prize. RoX received half that amount and Artyom "Shiganari" Pervushin holding the MVP title.

League of Legends Continental League Spring 2020 began on February 22, with eight teams fighting for their piece of the ₽5,000,000 ($63,350) prize pool.
