Ultra Instinct Goku revealed for Dragon Ball FighterZ ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!
It was only a few days ago that Japanese magazine, V-Jump, reported that Ultra Instinct Goku would be coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ. Scans of the magazine have now emerged, confirming the upcoming DLC character for the game.
This addition will make the fifth version of Goku in the game, which is quite a lot for any fighting game. Especially if you consider the number of characters there are in the entire Dragon Ball franchise. Just like the last DLC character, Broly, this version of Goku is also taken from Dragon Ball Super. It appears this could be Ultra Instinct Goku in his 'mastered form,' which means the Saiyan can effortlessly attack and defend using precognition. Going by what we've seen in the anime, expect some lazy attacks, cool counters and simple dodges as we wait for gameplay trailers to drop.
The one-page scan doesn't say much about how he will play, but it's hard for fans of the show to look at all that silvery goodness and not get excited. His arrival should also mark the beginning of Dragon Ball FighterZ Season 3 of content.
More information and an official reveal of Ultra Instinct Goku should arrive during the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals which takes place from February 8–9.
