Ubisoft teases a Battle Royale game in Rainbow Six universe

Ubisoft conducted a social survey among Rainbow Six Siege fans via e-mail. It began with quite standard questions related to the quality of the past season and events in it. Among other things, there was a point about the user's attitude to the Battle Royale genre.

Two possible scenarios can be considered — Battle Royale mode to be added to R6: Siege or there will come a release of a completely new game within the series. Fans reacted rather negatively to the first scenario, expressing concerns about the discontinuation of support for the rest of the project’s functionality.

It seems that the publisher so far is only considering various options concerning franchise's development and they are not ready to present anything significant in the near future.

It is worth noting that the results of a similar vote after the release of Assassin's Creed Origins largely influenced the choice of the setting to for the next part.
