Ubisoft increases financial support of R6: Siege esports

While the Rainbow Six Pro League continues to grow and becomes an important esports discipline, Ubisoft reports a significant expansion of prize pool.

Once the ninth season is successfully completed, the game will receive significant financial support in the amount of $1.069.000. Parker "Interro" McKay, Pro League caster, provided exact figures to show fans how significant the difference was compared to last year. 

Thus, Pro League will see an increase in financial support by 100% (from $275.000 to $626.000), and the growth of the Challenger League fund will be as much as 390% (from $15.000 to $73.500). Seeing these figures, there is no doubt about the seriousness of the publisher’s plans and the further favorable development of the discipline.
