It was announced that two players, Paul “sOAZ” Boyer and Kang “GorillA” Beom-Hyun have left the Misfits Gaming League of Legends team. Today, Misfits Gaming official Twitter account bid farewell to players, accompanied with goodbye movies dedicated to each of them.
It is not certain yet, whether the rest of the team is going to remain, as none of the players has commented on the situation yet.
Since acquiring Febiven, sOAZ and GorillA at beginning of the year, Misfits Gaming was thought to have gathered yet another powerful European superteam. This, however, seemed less probable after team’s 8th place in 2019 Spring Split and another 8th place in LEC Summer Season with a 3-7 record.
Situations like that always herald changes — such talented players will certainly find their teams and Misfits will hopefully recover and flourish with an updated roster.
