Twitch partners with the Oakland Raiders

Live-streaming platform Twitch has partnered with the Oakland Raiders. The deal will include a Twitch lounge within Allegiant Stadium as part of the NFL team's move to Las Vegas. 

With this deal Twitch becomes a founding partner of  Allegiant Stadium. Situated in Paradise, Nevada, the stadium should be completed before the 2020 season. The Twitch lounge will feature viewing screens, streaming stations, esports tournaments and other Twitch events. The nature of these Twitch events hasn't been disclosed yet. 

The Raiders' move is the third in its history and was announced in March 2017. It comes as a result of failed talks regarding renovations to their home stadium, the RingCentral Coliseum. Once completed, Allegiant Stadium will become their new home and thanks to Twitch, help grow esports in the region.
