E-frag.net has revealed the details about the Asian qualifying process for The World Championships 2016.
Twenty-four national teams will compete in the Asian qualifiers over the next weeks to determine which country will represent the region at the offline finals of TWC 2016, which will be held from October 12-16.
The qualifiers will kick off with a single-elimination, best-of-three bracket featuring the 16 lowest-ranked teams in the regions. The top four teams will advance to a second qualifying round, in which they will be pitted against higher-ranked teams in best-of-three clashes.
The top four teams will secure spots in the main round, which will also feature the top seeded nations, Vietnam, China, Indonesia and Thailand. A double-elimination group stage, featuring two groups of four teams and best-of-three decider matches, will determine the four teams making it to the playoffs.
