Turner and WMG announce $1.2M prize pool for CS:GO E-League ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

In the announcement video, the organizations revealed that E-League will feature 15 teams competing for a $1.2 million USD prize pool. The pot will be split across two 10-week seasons that begin in the summer of 2016.

Most of the competing teams are not known, but when the league was announced in September, Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles announced that Renegades will be playing.

E-League games will be aired on TBS on Fridays during the season. A schedule and venue have yet to be announced.
