TSM Leffen will miss Evo 2019

Swedish professional cyber sportsman and last year Evo's Super Smash Bros Melee champion,  William "Leffen" Hjelte will miss the tournament this year due to visa problems.

In a couple of tweets today, Leffen said he's experiencing issues retrieving his passport and visa because he doesn't have any other suitable legal identification than the passport itself. Despite the fact that he provided debit and credit cards and bank statements as identification, he wasn't able to get his documents.

Leffen claims he has also called the support team, but they said they couldn't do anything to help him. His last chance was to call the embassy, but by then it was already closed.

This will be the second time in four years that William has missed an Evo because of his visa. In 2016 he was unable to take part in the Super Smash Bros. Melee due to delays in the process of obtaining the document.
