Team SoloMid has announced its plans to build a $13 million, 25,000 sq. ft. esports training center in Playa Vista, Los Angeles.
It will serve as the hub for all TSM operations in the United States, which includes training, development and content creation. Facilities mentioned are a content studio, gaming lounge, fitness center, streaming rooms and practice rooms.
Lenovo has partnered with TSM to provide the gaming lounge's PCs and other equipment. Their sponsorship also gives them naming rights to the lounge which will be called the Lenovo Legion Lounge. Other brand partnerships are expected to be announced soon.
The North American esports organisation has teams in a variety of games such as League of Legends, PUBG, Fortnite, Hearthstone, Super Smash Bros, Rocket League and Magic: The Gathering. Their LoL team has also won six League of Legends Championship Series Splits since 2013.
Once completed, the facility will be the largest esports training center in North America. It is scheduled to open in 2020.
