Ban "TRUE" Tae Soo has won a 4-1 victory over Choi "Polt" Seong Hun and will be headed to to the WCS Global Finals at Blizzcon

Ban "TRUE" Tae Soo has won the 2016 WCS Summer Circuit Championship at Dreamhack Montreal with a 4-1 victory over Choi "Polt" Seong Hun, and will be headed to to the WCS Global Finals at Blizzcon.

TRUE qualified for the tournament through the NA Server qualifier, beating out Brandon "puCK" Qual for the spot. He went on to drop just two games during the main event, one in his Grand Finals series against Polt, and the other in his Semifinals match agasint Gabriel "HeRoMaRinE" Segat.

Otherwise, TRUE swept his way through the bracket, beating Jens "Snute" Aasgaard, Kevin "Harstem" de Koning and Vesa "Welmu" Hovinen 3-0 each.

In addition to the direct seed to the Global Finals, TRUE also won 3,000 WCS points and $35,000 for the victory. For second place, Polt gets $15,000 and 1,400 points, though Polt is already qualified for the Global finals thanks to his first place finish at IEM Katowice.

Blizzcon takes place from Nov. 4-5 in Anaheim, California.
