Triumph updates

Before playing ESL One Cologne North America, Triumph esports organization signed two players to complete the squad: Canadians Kaleb "moose" Jayne and Erik "penny" Penny. They will replace Rahul "curry" Nemani, who made his choice in favor of getting an education, and Michael "Grim" Wince, who went on promotion to Team Liquid. Both newcomers have already competed for Triumph at DreamHack Open Summer, where the team was knocked out of the last place after being defeated by Chaos Esports Club and Ze Pug Gods.

Unfortunately, they've lost their debut ESL One Cologne game against Evil Geniuses yesterday.

ZoneR's back

Aleksandr "zoneR" Bogatiryev has rejoined Hard Legion just two months after parting ways with them. He will take the coaching position in the team, once again providing them with a great experience. Hard Legion, #36 in HLTV.org top-list, is currently not playing in any tournament. It seems that the team will try to find their game while practicing before starting anything serious.

Copenhagen Reborn

Esports organization Copenhagen Flames has risen from the ashes and announced the signing of a new CS:GO roster, which includes former Team Singularity and Lyngby Vikings players. The previous roster of the Danish organization was bought by the Giants Gaming club and now plays under its subsidiary x6tence tag. The first challenge for young Danes will be the Nine to Five 3 Dawn tournament, where they will play against BIG Academy, SKADE and Wisla Krakow.

Current CPHFlames roster:

  • Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen
  • Daniel "mertz" Mertz
  • Sebastian "Basso" Aagaard
  • Jakob "Jabbi" Nygaard
  • Jakob "Daffu" Schildt

Dota 2

Abed finds new fam

While Evil Geniuses is playing at OMEGA League with Danil "gpk" Skutin as a standin, EG's main player Abed "Abed" Yusop decided not to waste time and became a temporary Geek Fam player at ESL One Thailand 2020: Asia. He was invited to the roster instead of Mark "Raven" Fausto who left for Fnatic. Abed will play in the middle lane, and Karl will temporarily take the carry position. Geek Fam will look for a permanent solution to the midlane player problem after the end of the competition.
