Top Five Dota 2 Hero Sets: Alchemist

Dress up your favorite hero in the most popular sets in Dota 2
Recently Valve released the third Immortal Treasure (what are your thoughts?), and this time there was no "cute suit" for the popular Alchemist. This hero has eleven sets and numerous separate items with his "look." The famous gold Midas hand is among them.
I have to admit that it was quite challenging to find "top" sets this time, but I did it, and this time you'll see not only sets but Immortal Items that are quite famous among Dota 2 players. Ladies and gentlemen, here are the top five best sets for Alchemist that Valve offers to the players in their store:
Darkbrew Enforcer

Release date: December 01, 2016.
Rarity: Mythical
One of the most expensive sets for the Alchemist hero and the Dota 2 game, in general. At the time of this writing, the set costs about $250. It was created by BaNdenG in March 2016 and included the following items: Armguards (Arms), Top Hat (Tiny head), Suit (Armor), Shotgun Sling (Shoulder), Garb (Tiny Armor), Shotgun Blade (Weapon), Molotov Cocktail (Flask), and Loading Screen.
The set was launched in Fall 2016 Treasure IV. The creator initially gave the title "Smooth Criminal," and it's an obvious reference to the same name composition from Michael Jackson. Alchemist with his costume could quite harmoniously fit into the video clip's atmosphere along with the King of the pop scene.
It's now tradable and marketable, so you can easily buy it officially in the game if you wish.

Raid of the Northern Exiles

Release date: December 18, 2019.
Rarity: Rare
A simple and still accessible set that first appeared in the Frostivus 2019 Treasure. It changes Alchemist's look, making him a Viking from the distant northern lands. This set was created by Yuri in the Dota 2 workshop in November 2018 and primarily had the title “Northern Raiders."
The set includes Armor, Arms, Back, Neck, Offhand weapon, Weapon, and Loading Screen. I like it because of its kind of Christmas times atmosphere and quite interesting Ogre appearance. This set makes me think of the Alchemist's lore, and Razzil's wanderings along with the ogre after escaping from prison.

Waaagh Big 'Un

Release date: September 02, 2016.
Rarity: Rare
This set was created by katzeimsack in August 2016 (one of the fastest releases by Valve), and the idea and inspiration of it in competition with Warhammer. The creator also made sets with this theme for Undying, Pugna, Bloodseeker, Pudge, Legion Commander, Zeus, Brewmaster, and even courier Otus. The skin was launched in the special "Pre-Purchase Warhammer: Treasure of the Old World," and it's based on the Orc Big 'Uns from the Warhammer Fantasy universe. It shares models with Big' Un, but with different colors/textures.
The set includes items for the following slots: Armor, Arms, Back, Neck, Offhand weapon, Shoulder, Weapon, and Loading Screen.

Eternal Radiance Blades

Release date: September 02, 2016.
Rarity: Immortal
Now let's move on to the items that can be worn on the character along with other sets.
Have you ever wondered why Alchemist has not received anything worthwhile from the developers in terms of "clothes" since 2016, and the last Immortal item was already five years ago? Valve, please!
The item consists of modified golden blades that the ogre holds behind his back in a calm state, and during his ultimate, pulls them out and starts to punish enemies/creatures/towers. This weapon also represents an item from the game — Radiance, by their golden, shining appearance.
It was an official item made by Valve in Dota 2 Asia Championship 2015 Compendium. One curious fact: the initial title "The Twin Blades of Aurelian" was changed to the current one in the patch on January 30, 2015.

Razzil's Midas Knuckles

Midas has long been considered Alchemy's most successful practitioner. Seeking to address the incredible costs of war, he developed a series of gauntlet prototypes to be worn by revered knights of the kingdom, which were capable of minting coin with every strike.
Release date: July 31, 2015.
Rarity: Immortal
Last but not least, in terms of importance and popularity, is Razzil’s Midas Knuckles. The Immortal rarity item on the Arms’ slot with the image of Razzil (or Midas) on it has held a special place in the heart of Alchemist fans for five years.
The icon for his passive ability, Greevil’s Greed, will change to the special one with this item worn. As the previous Immortal item, Razzil’s Midas Knuckles represents the in-game item — Hand of Midas.

It is always more exciting to play your favorite character with new sets and attractive cosmetics. Sometimes, enemies could be distracted, trying to see all the details of the hero's bundle — maybe, it'll help you win one fight or more. We also hope that this article made your choice easier. Good luck, have fun!
