Gaming journalist, producer, and creator of The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley has revealed that the next Summer Game Fest stream will feature some VALORANT news from Riot Games.
The tactical first-person shooter has been growing in popularity since its beta program began in April and has shown no sign of slowing down. A growing number of pro players from other popular first-person shooters have also dropped their titles for the upcoming game, and a few organizations have already created teams ahead of VALORANT's official launch.

The post's caption reads "VALORANT update and announcement," which doesn't say much at all. However, Riot could finally be ready to share an actual release date. There's also the possibility of additional content and more regions added to the beta.
Summer Game Fest is Geoff Keighley's answer to all the gaming events and conventions canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The online event brings all that game convention goodness to fans around the world, in the comfort of their homes.
Today's Summer Game Fest stream will begin at 8 a.m. PT.
