#TI9: Group B Results

The situation in Group B was extremely confusing before the start of today's gaming day. However, the teams could deal with it without a tie-break.

It was enough to have a 50% win rate to get to the Upper bracket. Vici Gaming, Evil Geniuses and Virtus.pro joined OG. The Chinese team won a game against Natus Vincere with a 2:0 score and their last meeting with OG was just a show match. Take a look at JerAx's Techies:

Evil Geniuses got themselves together and could win two important maps against Virtus.pro and Ninjas in Pyjamas, and that was enough for them to get to the top 4. 

The final ticket to the Upper bracket was decided in the Fnatic and Virtus.pro match. VP needed two victories, and they could do this, but with some difficulty. Fnatic took the final sixth place, losing to Infamous. The South American team will choose an opponent from the Team Liquid - Keen Gaming pair.

Unfortunately for Natus Vincere fans, the team took only 7th place and will play in the Playoffs Round 1 with either The Alliance or Mineski. The Swedish team has the right to choose.
