Fnatic conquered with the team from CIS in the final match of the group stage for reaching the Playoffs' Upper bracket.

First map

The first map started with the light Fnatic's benefit. The significant control from Ogre Mage, Ancient Apparition and Shadow Shaman did all the job, and the South Asian team entered the midgame with a slight advantage of gold. Nevertheless, Virtus.pro also began to farm the necessary artefacts and win fights due to personal performance. The critical battle took place in the 15th minute: VP defeated the opponent and seized the initiative on the map. The Fnatic draft of Invoker and 9pasha lost all combat potential after Slark got BKB, while Virtus.pro started to increase the pace in their game.

Fnatic left without fortifications at the base and forced to capitulate under the pressure of mega-creeps. Virtus.pro led in a series, and one map separated them from getting into the Upper bracket.

The start of the map was good for the CIS team, but Fnatic seized the initiative and pulled ahead by the middle of the game. The advantage of the South Asian team has grown to 16 thousand by 30th minute.

Fnatic entered the opponent's bottom line at the 37th minute and destroyed both barracks, but was caught and lost four valuable characters. Virtus.pro destroyed the opponent's mid and made a full-fledged comeback.

VP successfully held the significant long fight at 50th minute, sent the Fnatic's main characters to the fountain without a buyback, destroyed the enemy Ancient and got into the Upper bracket of The International 2019 Playoffs!
