TI9 — all China closed qualifications participants

The Chinese region is the first to determine its all closed regional qualifications participants for The International 2019. The last two quotas went to Newbee, who beat Royal with the well-known ddc (the player misses The International for the first time) and Team Serenity, who stopped AEB Guys.

iG Vitality failed again, this time the team dropped out at the semi-finals stage.

We remind you that in the front wave, Invictus Gaming and CDEC Gaming became the first participants.

The final list of participants of a closed regional qualification in China is as follows:

• EHOME

• Team Aster

• Royal Never Give Up

• Team Sirius

• Invictus Gaming

• CDEC Gaming 

• Newbee

• Team Serenity

According to the new qualifications format, each of the six regions received one quota each, supposed for the winner of the closed qualifiers. The remaining twelve spots are distributed according to the Dota 2 Pro Circuit rating. A total of eighteen teams will perform at The International 2019.
