The modding community is the main reason behind the longevity of some of the most popular PC games, and the recent mod for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice clearly demonstrates how the imagination of content creators works.
Thomas the Train, best known as Thomas the Tank Engine, is the hero of today’s new mod. He’s a rather famous character featured in a lot of gaming memes and, of course, games themselves. You must’ve surely seen him in Skyrim, and his most recent appearance was witnessed in Resident Evil 2 where he took over the role of Mr. X. You have to admit that having a deadly optimistic train follow your trails (pun!) is much more terrifying than a mediocre looking villain is. This time Thomas has invaded Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice as an equivalent replacement for Great Serpent, one of the game’s bosses. Not only Thomas viciously attacks you, but he’s also creating the grim atmosphere while creeping around in search for the main protagonist and predatorily honking his whistle. This image is likely to haunt you in your nightmares.
If you are willing to take responsibility for your mental health, you can download the mod via this link. Also, to make the mod work, you’ll need to install the Sekiro Mod Engine. This obviously applies to PC only.
