Thimbleweed Park is currently free on the Epic Store ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

A clever and funny adventure Thimbleweed Park, which is a spiritual successor to such cult representatives of the genre as Maniac Mansion and The Secret of Monkey Island, is an undisputable must-play for the fans of point-and-click games. If you happen to be one, we have exciting news for you, and the only downside is the necessity to install Epic Games Store launcher.

Thimbleweed Park was developed by the original creators of the aforementioned two genre classics, and this charming game features the very same level of parody humour and simple controls with intentionally simplified pixelated visuals. A small American town, which goes by the same name as the game, hosts a frightening murder mystery you are about to solve. The most obvious source for this particular parody is The X-Files series, and even the two FBI investigators in Thimbleweed Park look like Mulder and Scully. The only better representation of the pair was made long ago in one of the Simpsons episodes.

But what’s all the fuss with Thimbleweed Park about, you’ll ask? The game is currently free to grab on Epic Games Store, and you should be already interested in the title after all we had to say about it. Just hit the link – and make sure you do so until March 7 when the offer expires.
