The Walking Dead: The Final Season is coming!

Yesterday it was announced that Skybound Games (developer group of The Walking Dead game) have come to an agreement with Telltale Games that says the dev team will be able to finish the game. 

Earlier Ian Howe, company’s head of publishing, said:

"We don't believe the game can be properly completed by anyone other than members of the original team."

As we reported earlier, Telltale Games faced some major layoffs as the studio is getting closed which in turn threatened the release of the unfinished games like “Stranger Things” and such that the studio has been working on. The company later clarified the "Stranger Things" game will still be released. We can only assume other games would be finished as well but at this point that's just a pure speculation.
