German video game developer and publisher Kalypso has let the taste of beta version Tropico 6, but only for those who preordered the game through its shop. A Steam beta was announced in August, with no specific data yet.
El Presidente, beloved leader of Tropico, has announced that Tropico 6 will be released worldwide for PC in January 2019, with console versions planned for a summer 2019 launch.
This is the latest entry in the series, but has a different developer than previous titles. In the first two, it was Bulgaria’s Haemimont Games, but this time It was German company Limbic Entertainment which took care of the development.
