The tickets for The International 2019 have been delayed ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Valve has previously decided to collaborate with Damai.com to sell the tickets for The International 2019, but this was later changed due to the obvious relation of the reseller with various scammers. Sadly, it all means that we’ll have to wait longer for the sale to start.

To be honest, this is an indisputably reasonable decision by Valve since scammers bought most of the tickets for various previous tournaments – and yes, they were on sale through Damai.com. For instance, the League of Legends 2017 tournament was held in China, and the tickets were on sale through the aforementioned reseller. The moment the tickets went on sale, the website suspiciously crashed – and later, when the connection was restored, it was discovered that during that crash period scammers had purchased most of the tickets. The story almost completely repeated itself with the tickets’ sale for The Chongqing Major. With all that in mind, we should obviously appreciate Valve’s intention to keep the tourney’s viewers safe from scammers. And yes, the wait will be a bit longer, no one argues with that – but for a serious reason. Valve cares for us.

The International 2019 will be held this summer in Shanghai, China. We’ve prepared a thorough trip guide for you to learn all the necessary information on how to get there safely and ready for action. There’s no other place to learn more – go check it out.
