The Switch breaking Super Smash Bros. Ultimate custom stage ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

"Pyon Pyon Shuten" or "Hop-Hop FD" is the name of the crazy arena that’s become popular in Japan because of the series of glitches and effects it creates in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Joining in on the fun was Jason "Mew2King" Zimmerman and Saleem "Salem" Akiel Young of Most Valuable Gaming. Together they shared a video on Most Valuable Gaming’s YouTube channel, in which they document the glitch adventures of Mew2King and Salem. The stage bears a single platform which seems to move back and forth, causing their characters to stutter and gain after images. Other glitches include instant teleportation,  recovering when you shouldn't, and losing jumps.

According to the players, Pyon Pyon Shuten eventually broke the Switch they were playing on. However, that didn’t stop them from finding another Switch to continue their game. In the video, it’s clear to see they’re having a lot of fun on the buggy stage.

You can either try out the stage for yourself using this code “85J1BRMJ,” at the risk of breaking your own Switch or play it safe by just watching the video below instead.
