The Surge 2 release date is September and pre-orders are live

In what was first assumed to be a leak by Wccfrech, other online stores have also put up their own listing for the upcoming game, making it official. The Surge 2 will be released on September 24 at $60 with pre-orders also available now. 

Officially announced in February 2018, the game is the sequel to 2016's The Surge by Deck13. The action RPG was likened to Dark Souls which didn't do it any favours, but its sci-fi theme managed to set it apart from the competition. 

The developers took their time to make the sequel seemingly better than the original and have promised larger, more ambitious levels. There are also many new weapons and it looks to be much more fun than The Surge. 

The Surge 2 pre-order bonuses include the following:
