The Sinking City — a new detective horror gameplay

A Kiev studio named Frogwares introduced a new gameplay trailer for their detective horror The Sinking City, which tells us about the mechanics of investigations and presents new locations in more detail. The player will take the role of private investigator Charles Reed, who was brought to the small town of Oakmont in America — actions take place in the 1920s. 

The gameplay itself is based on searching for various leads, solving puzzles using deduction methods and participating in dialogues. All decisions need to be made independently, relying on the notes in the hero's diary, since the project does not mark important places and characters of the case with special pointers, as all the similar game of the genre do.

The Sinking City release date has not yet been confirmed, but judging by the video, the level of quality and everything else looks close enough to the final build. We might expect it in the current year for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
