The Shanghai Major announced for March

Valve has announced the location and date of the Winter Major on the Frankfurt Major livestream, it will be held in Shanghai, China at the Mercedes Benz Arena Mar. 2 to 6 2016.

The Shanghai Major will be produced by Perfect World, the same company that organized the Dota 2 Asia Championships with MarsTV in early 2015.

No other details were announced. The five day length suggests that the format will be somewhat different, as the Frankfurt Major took place over six days not including a two day Group Stage. However when Frankfurt was announced the group stage dates were not included, so Shanghai may still have a Group Stage of its own.
