Today the second group stage of WePlay Dota 2 League Season 2 begins! Eight teams are left in the tournament, and they are divided into two groups. We would like to present you an overview of teams continuing their fight for the title of champion. Also we remind you that only four best teams will get to play-off stage.

Второй групповой этап, или кто кого?

Let’s start with the group A. It includes Speed Gaming, Alliance, Empire and RoX.KIS. Notable fact is that the last three teams participated in LAN-final of Starladder and took places starting from second to fourth respectively. It should be also mentioned that both Alliance, and Empire outplayed RoX.KIS with the score 2:0, so Solo and the company have an increased motivation to get revenge.

Despite the fact that the favorites in this group are the current champions of The International, we should not disregard Speed Gaming - a team which is not the most stable (last 10 official games ended with the score 5:5), but is able to beat anyone. And one more factor in favor of the international team will be weariness of rivals. LAN-tournaments are exhausting; in case of failures the conflicts may appear, and their decision takes some time. Will EternalEnvy realize the advantage of gaming freshness? We will see this today!

Второй групповой этап, или кто кого?

Group B consists of two American teams (Evil Geniuses, Team Liquid) and two European (Mouz. [f.3]. Quantic and Natus Vincere). An unambiguous favorite of this group is "Natus Vincere": they showed a great game while winning LAN-finals of Starladder; statistics of their last games is impressive - 9:1! Na`Vi can be stopped now, perhaps, only by Na`Vi: if the team approaches the games not in the best shape, their opponents will have good chances.

There will be a serious fight for the second place in group B. It will be very interesting to watch over the confrontation between American teams, because quite enough time has passed after TI3-reshuffle to let the teams achieve good team-work. Mouz. [F.3]. Quantic can be considered as a dark horse of this group only for one reason: the team shows a rather interesting high level dota, but Fata is injured, and it will be a serious loss for Europeans. But for sure they will impose a fight to the other teams.

Anyway, at this week we will know the names of the four teams which will continue their fight for the champion’s title and a nice addition in the amount of $ 13,000. Stay with WePlay.tv, the most interesting things are just beginning!
