The real bike from Days Gone by PlayStation Nordic team

Days Gone is a game in the open world, where you can be the brutal and robust character Deacon, who has a loyal friend, his “iron horse” - a bike. It is one of the main features of the game: every player can evaluate its role in Days Gone. 

The PlayStation Nordic team decided not to dwell only on the digital world, they went further and organized the construction of a real bike from a game in real life with skilled masters and experienced bikers.

Patrick, Andreas, Rakel and Fabian are four Dutch bikers, who helped to make this iron horse. 

"Patrick is the project lead and has been given the task of recreating the bike in real life. The garage manager Andreas has been responsible for a motorcycle repair shop for years and knows all the ins and outs of motorcycles. The team’s designer, Rakel, takes care of drafts and sketches. The fourth and last member is Fabian, a mechanic experienced in welding, metal works and building all sorts of vehicles."

The group had the task to create a fast, safe and universal bike. They had only 48 hours to remake the old broken motorcycle closer to the gaming original. 

The participants of this action were held around the clock in the garage, adapting a two-wheeled vehicle for the needs of the post-apocalyptic off-road.
