One of the biggest FPS titles of 2018 was definitely an online multiplayer battle royale game called PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG). Beginning today, all supporters of this game can look forward to a brand new The National PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds League which will kick off on February 1st, the organizers just announced.
The league will have three phases throughout the year, with 4 different events: the National PUBG League main event, NPL Contenders, NPL Royale, and NPL Relegation. The National League is a prestigious event focused on professional teams and players while NPL Contenders is an “up-and-coming” league that feeds into the main one.
The complete list of participating teams in National PUBG League looks as follow:

- eUnited
- Ghost Gaming
- Lazarus Esports
- Noble Esports
- Oxymoron
- Shoot to Kill
- Simplicity
- Smokin Aces
- Spacestation Gaming
- Team Envy
- Tempo Storm
- Vicious Gaming
- Why Tempt Fate
- Wildcard Gaming
All of those 16 teams will start competing on February 1st while the whole show will be broadcasted by OGN, from the OGN Super Arena in Manhattan, California.
Matches are held every week on Fridays and Saturdays across five playing weeks and as a sweat reward will be $1 million over the course of the 2019 season.
