There’ve already been rumours suggesting that the long-awaited sequel to Naughty Dog’s excellent post-apocalyptic action adventure The Last of Us (which is considered the best game of the previous gen) might come out in February 2020. Today, we have another indirect confirmation for this.

The source of this information is one of the users from the Chinese forums A9VG. According to the post, the game is indeed planned for the February release. The information was translated by industry analyst Daniel Ahmad who’s pointed out that the user in question correctly leaked the November release window of Death Stranding weeks before it was announced officially. In other words, the source is relatively reliable due to his previous “dumps.” The leak also mentions four possible editions of The Last of Us: Part 2, which are the following: Standard Edition, Special Edition, Collector’s Edition, Ellie Edition. The latter draws the most interest as it might include some special goodies related to Ellie’s character from the game.

Sony is yet to confirm or deny these speculations, and we’ll have to wait a bit longer to hear any official words due to the fact that the company decided to skip E3 2019. However, there’re many more huge events and conventions where Sony might reveal the truth.
