The qualifier dates haven’t been announced yet, but we know how many spots are allocated for each region:
- 3 Europe
- 3 CIS
- 3 China
- 2 North America
- 3 South America
- 3 South-East Asia
Valve defines the amount of spots allocated for each region.
One last spot in EPICENTER is reserved for the winners of the StarLadder Minor which takes place in Kiev a couple of weeks before the Moscow event.
With DreamLeague S11 Major coming to an end, there are only two Major tournaments in the current DPC season. It puts increased pressure on teams that want to get enough points for a trip to The International 2019, which is taking place in August. OG, the TI 2018 champions, haven’t been able to secure a trip to Shanghai yet, and they returned ana on their roster to make sure they don’t miss the two remaining events.
The top 12 teams in the DPC rankings at the end of the season get an invite to The International 2019. Regional qualifiers will decide the remaining four slots.
