The Treyarch company, who developed Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, decided not to stop there, gradually improving the Blackout mode. In the last update, for example, they added a temporary mode called Down But Not Out, but only on the PlayStation 4. It will reach the remaining platforms later.
The players, who play in groups, will be able to rise after death in this mode on the border of the danger zone if at least one person from the group remains alive. This goes against the canons of the Battle Royale genre, which made it so popular, but Epic Games also embodied a similar idea in Fortnite.
The company also released a trailer on their Twitter, which briefly shows how the process of the game will take place in this mode. The video lasts only 17 seconds, but this will be enough for you to awaken interest in the new mode. Check out the trailer and decide if it is worth your immediate inclusion of the console and gathering friends in Blackout or not.
You can play the new mode until January 30th. Recall that now you can play Blackout absolutely free of charge up to January 24.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was released on October 12, 2018, on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
