The Massive studio has hosted yet another developer livestream called “State of the Game” for The Division 2. During the broadcast, one of the devs announced that the game would soon get its own Public Test Server. Moreover, it’s already known what is going to be tested during the first stage.
The Division 2 is scheduled to receive a huge update called Title Update 3 on April 25. It will introduce Dark Hours – the very first raid for the game. Dark Hours is an example of endgame activity and is designed for eight players. There aren’t any specific details regarding the raid right now, although it is strongly rumoured that the Agents will get to play with new powerful mechanics. Whatever the update actually brings into the game, it is going to be tested on the PTS –apart from the debut raid itself. Sadly, the contents of Dark Hours are being kept a secret until the update releases. However, we’ll still get the chance to try out some new aspects of the game.
Public Test Server, as it usually happens in the gaming industry, will only be accessible on PC through the separate client in UPlay. It will obviously be available for free for all the owners of the game, and the first round of testing is expected to start next week.
