The Chongqing Major organisers made a draw yesterday. We remind you that matches are played in GSL-system — two top teams in each group get into upper playoff bracket, the others go to lower bracket. Teams have to win 2 maps in a match (Bo3 format).

Preparations for the main January Dota 2 tournament hasn't gone as smoothly as we would like. Yesterday Team Liquid's main star Amer Miracle Al-Barkawi was not granted permission to enter Chongqing. He was replaced by Chu shadow Zeyu.

The Chongqing Major starts in Chongqing’s Chinese metropolis on January 19 and runs until January 27, 2019. $1.000.000 and 15,000 DPC points are the rewards at the tournament.
