The Bucharest Minor has started, but some of the official Russian speaking casters from Maincast aren’t able to get to the studio because they were denied entry to Ukraine. One of the founders of Maincast Vitalii "v1lat" Volochai informed his Telegram followers why Maxim "TpoH" Vernikov and Vladimir "PGG" Anosov have couldn’t fly to Kiev.
Yes, indeed, yesterday PGG and Tron failed to pass the Ukrainian customs and had to return. All the documents we provided were in perfect order, right now the guys are in Minsk and tomorrow they will try to fly to Kiev again. We are working on the documents to prove the peaceful and useful purpose of their visit. Hopefully, things will work out, and you’ll be able to see Vova and Max in the studio before the Minor ends.
Due to the recently implemented limited martial law in Ukraine, male residents of Russia aged between 16 and 60 are banned from entering the country without very good reasons. This policy is meant to stop potential hostile elements from penetrating Ukrainian territory.
The Bucharest Minor is already live and the winners of WePlay! Winter Madness team Gambit Esports have already won their group.
