The best games of Epic Store

The Epic Games Store is rapidly improving its position in the field of PC digital distribution and has already stolen a few titles from Steam. We all know that Metro Exodus is a timed one-year exclusive for Epic Store, and that particular story unfolded in a fashion that was unfair to Steam users. And while situations like these occur it’s time to give the Epic’s digital store a look.

VG247 has made a handy chart of the best games available at the store. One might jokingly say that these are the only games that are present for now, but the store’s library is growing – and you might need a hand to choose the most respectable titles. Anyway, the list obviously starts with Fortnite Battle Royale and original cooperative Fortnite. Both games are well-executed quality products, and it’s the revenue from Fortnite that allowed Epic Games to launch its own digital store. Next goes already mentioned post-apocalyptic Metro Exodus with its semi-open world and vast locations that are a nice departure from the series’ signature corridor-walking gameplay.

These are, apparently, the only huge titles available at the moment (given another Epic Store exclusive – The Division 2 – hasn’t released yet) for the list continues with various indies. There’s a colourful roguelike Hades, an old school point-n-click adventure Thimbleweed Park from the veterans of the genre, visually stunning Gorogoa, a legendary tough platformer Super Meat Boy, etc. You can view the rest via the link.
