In late 2019, Tencent revealed the upcoming mobile game, Street Fighter: Duel which brings a host of 2D super-deformed characters together in a new game.

Although the annual event, Tencent Game Conference is scheduled to take place on June 7, the mega-corporation shared a cinematic peek at the upcoming game ahead of their event. In the brief video, Blanka, Chun-Li, Ken, and Ryu take on M.Bison and Juri. The trailer also seems to make use of their Street Fighter IV character design, which could be a hint at the game’s story.

Street Fighter: Duel features 3v3 battles, with players making use of card strategies do battle. Only a China release has been announced so far, but a global announcement may not be too far considering all the attention the game has gained across the world. According to video game analyst Daniel Ahmad, 2.2 million players have pre-registered for the mobile game.

Tencent Game Conference will reportedly feature over 40 games at the showcase.
