Tekcac: DreamLeague S11 Day 9 Predictions - Playoffs ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Yaroslav "Tekcac" Petrushin, WePlay! Dota 2 caster, continues to delight us with his predictions for the DreamLeague Season 11 matches.

PSG.LGD —Vici Gaming

The team from China will enter the top 3 major for the first time this season, and furthermore - in the “winners”. The first match of the day is the battle between PSG.LGD and Vici Gaming. After the information about the Maybe “vacations”, a lot of people expected their Dota to be worse, but they have lost only one map at the moment. Still, it is worth taking the format of the tournament into account, because they beat only two teams - Infamous and NiP for the first place in Group B. By the way, PSG.LGD even lost one map to NiP. There was a game against Mineski in the Upper Bracket, and all three teams with whom LGD played, didn’t get further than the second round.

At the same time, Vici Gaming is the Minor champion, and it seems that, by status, they aren’t supposed to be in the top 3 through the Upper Bracket. Nevertheless, the VG rivals, as for me, played better than the LGD opponents. These were Chaos, who managed to knock out Team Liquid in Bo1 and showed the battle series against Virtus.pro after. It didn’t work with EG, the geniuses simply beat out the Chinese in “2 for 30”, but then they got back at NAVI. The opponent in the Playoffs was much more dangerous than LGD - it was Team Secret, and Vici dealt with them after losing the first map. In general, I would bet on VG with a 2:1 score, according to past matches, but don’t forget that this is a Chinese derby and they know each other very well. It happens that the game changes dramatically in such meetings.

Keen Gaming — Fnatic

Keen shocked everybody when they gave a comeback in the series against EG after a defeat in 23 minutes. Let me remind you that this team played at WESG not so long ago, they were able to beat the new mix of the Ukrainian team, and after that, in the Grand final, they lost 0:2 to TNC. They surprised us even in Groups at the Major because it was Keen who beat Team Liquid and sent them to the Lower Bracket.

Fnatic beat Infamous in Groups with a 2:1 score, and also played against NiP twice. The “oranges” were still stronger in the Winners’ match, so they got into the Playoffs to Virtus.pro. And again, there was an unexpected outcome in that match - 2:0 for outsiders meeting. Perhaps, I will bet on the Fnatic team victory in this match.
