French esports organization Team Vitality has extended its partnership deal with telecommunications corporation Orange until 2021.

The deal was first established in 2018 and includes live event activations in France, jersey sponsorship, and digital brand activations with Rush Esport. It will also see Orange equip V.Hive, Team Vitality’s new headquarters, with fiber broadband.

Team Vitality CEO, Nicolas Maurer spoke on the extension in a release:

We are delighted that Orange is renewing its trust in the team after an incredible first-year partnership, during which we managed to exceed all the objectives that have been set with respect to the main areas of communication, business, and sports. As with other partners, it was, from now on, important for us to be able to project into the future with our major partner, and it is a great satisfaction for Team Vitality to extend this collaboration until 2021.”

Earlier this month, Team Vitality received an additional  €14 million investment ($15,425,270) from Rewired.GG, making a total of €34 million ($37,461,370), the esports venture fund has invested in the French organization.

Orange France Director of Communication, Gaëlle Le Vu, also commented on the deal:

Orange is currently the most involved in the French esports scene. As the leading esports equipment supplier, thanks to Fiber, Orange is pursuing its commitment by renewing its partnership with Team Vitality. This partnership continues to form part of a global approach where Orange aims to reach a community that consumes competitive media and entertainment other than through traditional channels.”

Rewired.GG’s additional investment has helped boost Team Vitality’s offering, with Orange’s extension likely the first of many more to come. Among the French organization's list of partners are brands like Adidas and Renault.
