As a big surprise today came the news that the Ukrainian CS:GO lineup with a core of Natus Vincere roster (yeah, s1mple too) declined the invitation to compete in the WESG Finals. They will be held on December 21-23 in Kiev, Ukraine this year.

World Electronic Sports Game (WESG) might not be the most prestigious event but has the biggest prize pool in CS:GO history yet. Last year it was $1,500,000 on the table, with the winner taking $800,000 as a reward. Not bad, huh? Like I said, the biggest prize pool ever. That’s why the players around the world create teams (must be of the same nationality) to compete in this event.
It’s even more surprising when you realize that Ukrainian team won the last year's WESG EU & CIS Finals. One of the players (bondik) also tweeted they will create the same lineup (except markeloff who should be replaced by ANGE1) to be part of this event as last year.
With that being said, the only Ukrainian team who accepted the invite will be the squad named djakuyu formed by members of Vega Squadron, Spirit and pro100.
djakuyu's lineup is:
Igor "crush" Shevchenko
Dmitriy "jR" Chervak
Viktor "somedieyoung" Orudjev
Ivan "AiyvaN" Semenets
Pavel "COLDYY1" Veklenko
Team Ukraine could look like as follows:
Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk
Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow
Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev
Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev
Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko
