Despite being one of the best teams of 2015, Team SoloMid have agreed to release their Counter-Strike roster.
Over the course of the year the Danish squad established themselves as one of the top teams in the world, and put in their fair share of strong results, including multiple event wins.

Regardless, TSM have stated that they will be letting the team's contracts expire and will allow them to seek a new organization. Specifically TSM cited "the large time zone difference and distance separating [them]..." as a problem, as it caused "large issues with accessibility."
The team said the following in a group statement:
"We were really happy to work for the TSM organization. They provided us with everything we wanted for the entire year, and did their best to keep us happy. However, our long term visions did not align, and we believed that it was the best for both parties to part. We would like to thank TSM for all they’ve done for us, and hope to meet their new roster at future tournaments."
The now-former roster of Team SoloMid consisted of the following players:
- René "cajunb" Borg
- Nicolai "device" Reedtz
- Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen
- Finn "karrigan" Andersen
- Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth
The team will be seeking a new organization within Europe that will grant them control and flexibility, while TSM will move ahead seeking to build a new roster that will be based near Los Angeles, California.
