KheZu is a relative newcomer to the Dota 2 scene, having switched from Heroes of Newerth to Dota 2 in 2015. His first big team was COOKISS, where he gained attention as a strong up-and-coming offlaner. He was part of the No Diggity when Troels “Synderen” Neilsen started the team in March, and has been a part of the roster through their pickup by Escape Gaming and (albeit short-lived) TI6 run.
Escape Gaming made it out of the Wild Card round at The International, beating compLexity and Execration, but came last in Group A, and were eliminated from the tournament after a loss to Fnatic in the first round of the lower bracket. The full squad stayed together through the post-TI roster shuffle, but failed to qualify for The Boston Major after coming 8th in the round robin stage of the stacked European regional qualifier.
Team Secret made it through the round robin of The Boston Major qualifiers, but lost to Ad Finem 2-0 in the semifinal before being eliminated by Virtus.pro with another 2-0 in the lower bracket. With no Major in their future, Team Secret are no longer beholden to the roster lock, and the shuffles have begun anew.
