The third day of ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Europe Closed Qualifier saw two teams secure their spot in the upcoming Major while the third-place match to take place in a few hours. 

Group A’s 3rd-4th place tiebreaker match saw Nigma defeat OG Seed 1-0, while Ninjas in Pyjamas secured victory over Team Liquid in Group B’s 2nd-3rd place tiebreaker. OG Seed then went on to face Alliance in the Minor Qualifier Decider and lost to the Swedish team, 0-2. 

Moving on to the Playoffs, Team Secret defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas 2-0, and OG also did the same against Aggressive Mode. Both winners have now secured their place in ESL One Los Angeles 2020. As for the third-place match, Ninjas in Pyjamas will play Aggressive Mode for the Major’s last seed while the loser will advance to the Minor.   

ESL One Los Angeles 2020 will take place at the Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles, California. From March 14-22, 16 teams from around the world will compete for $1 million and 15,000 DPC points.
