Remember all the speculation revolving around Team Liquid's replacement for Matumbaman? Well it turns out to be true.

Today Team Liquid announced in an official statement via Twitter that Aliwi "w33" Omar will be joining their roster just 2 days before the EPICENTER Majors in Moscow.

Former Team Liquid player Matumbaman left the team last week on amicable terms. His absence created a gaping hole in the roster, and so close to EPICENTER Majors too.

Team Liquid was able to quickly secure w33 for practice scrims afterwards, when fans caught sight of their stream and the rumours went into full gear. With his inclusion to the team, Team Liquid is fully prepared to face off at the upcoming Majors.
