Team Liquid signs former Alliance roster ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

A few weeks ago, Team Liquid lost its legendary Dota 2 roster when the squad decided to start their own organisation. Liquid promised fans that they would still compete in the Dota Pro Circuit 2019-2020 season and now they make good on that promise.

The worldwide esports organisation has announced the signing of Alliance's former squad which consists of Michael "miCKe" Vu, Maximilian "qojqva" Bröcker, Samuel "Boxi" Svahn, Tommy "Taiga" Le and Aydin "iNSaNiA" Sarkohi. Similar to the former Liquid roster, they also left Alliance in search of new opportunities and have now seemingly found it, playing for the top tier team.

In a brief video, Team Liquid founder and co-CEO Victor "Nazgul" Goossens introduced the new squad. Each player spoke on their goals and feelings about the new signing and iNSaNiA will remain captain of the team. Although they finished 13th-16th at The International 2019, Nazgul believes the new roster has what it takes to regain Liquid's past glory and create a new legacy.

The new squad has some really big shoes to fill, but iNSaNiA and his team seem prepared to face the challenges ahead. The most exciting thing about this signing is that we will most likely see Liquid's new roster face the old, which is sure to be a spectacle.

Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi and his squad have been rather silent since leaving Liquid which only adds to the excitement. This season promises to be an emotional ride for Liquid fans.
