The teams and groups for the Dota Pit League Season 5 qualifiers have been announced, and one of the two EU qualifiers will see Team Secret face off against Liquid for a coveted seed into the main tournament.
While Wings Gaming and Digital Chaos have already received direct invites to the main event, the other six teams set to compete will be determined by regional qualifiers. There will be two EU qualifiers, a CIS qualifier, a SEA qualifier, a Chinese qualifier and an American qualifier. The teams in each group are as follows:

The LAN finals will take place in Split, Croatia, from Jan. 20-22, 2017. A $125,000 prize pool will be on the line.
