T1 — WePlay AniMajor Team Profile

T1 (ex SK Telecom T1) is an esports organization founded in Korea in late 2002. Read about the victories and defeats that the Dota 2 team has met on their way.
T1 is one of the oldest and most established organizations from South Korea, being founded in 2002. While its initial esports title was StarCraft: Brood War, T1 (formerly SK Telecom T1) is most famous for its League of Legends roster, which has won three World Championships.
T1 entered the Dota 2 scene in 2019. However, they have only recently achieved decent results in their own region. During DPC Season 2, T1 took first place and clicnhed their spot in the WePlay AniMajor Playoffs.
Team Roster
Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon
At 19 years old and with 12000 MMR, 23savage is a Thai prodigy. He rose quickly through the scene and received an offer from Fnatic in just his second year of professional play! From Fnatic, to Vici Gaming, and now T1, this carry has bright future ahead of him.
His signature heroes are: Morhpling, Juggernaut and Anti-Mage

Karl is a veteran in the Filipino Dota scene. He started playing the original Warcraft III mod, and after the release of Dota 2 he played for notable Filipino teams such as Execration and Geek Fam.
His signature heroes are: Dragon Knight, Puck and Tinker
Carlo "Kuku" Palad (Team Captain)
A 24 y.o. offlaner from the Philippines, Carlo has been competing at the top level for six years. He has played for Mineski, TNC Predator, Geek Fam and OMEGA Esports. In 2018, he was involved in a scandal: his unsportsmanship conduct during public games led him to being disqualified from the Chongqing Major.
His signature heroes are: Batrider, Centaur Warrunner, Beastmaster
Kenny "Xepher" Deo
Xepher has been present in the professional SEA Dota scene since 2014. He has played for Rex Regum Quon, Tigers and Geek Fam. Like many of his teammates, he is yet to make a name for himself on the big stage, but don’t underestimate him, Kenny has got what it takes.
His signature heroes are: Rubick, Earth Spirit and Earthshaker
Matthew "Whitemon" Filemon
Whitemon is a new guy to the scene. The Indonesian support joined his first team, EVOS Esports in June 2018, and quite surprisingly, T1 is just his third team to date!
His signature heroes are: Disruptor, Jakiro and Grimstroke.
The best matches
Dota Pro Circuit 2021 S2: SEA Division 1 (vs. OB.Neon)
The Upper Division in SEA is probably the most competitive in terms of raw skill, so it was fairly expected that the Grand Final of the event would go to a tie-breaker. T1 played a great game against TNC Predator and claimed the championship.
SEA Dota Invitational 2020
One of the smaller regional tournaments, but T1 totally dominated with 3:0 win in the Grand Final against Cignal Ultra.
Defeats and Dramatic Moments
Dota Pro Circuit 2021 S1: SEA Division 1 (vs. Neon Esports)
While T1 managed to become champion of the DPC during the Spring, it wasn't their first attempt at the title. During the Winter season, they were battling for a spot at the ONE Esports Singapore Major. The tie-breaker for the 2nd-3rd place was very dramatic. However, T1 couldn’t adapt to Neon Esports' gameplan following the first map, which lead to painful loss.
